Early Childhood

Discover our free programs designed to promote family and childhood well-being and lifelong learning through play. They are for parents/guardians with their children aged 0-6.

A family-oriented program where parents and children can socialize with other families and learn through play.

Parents/guardians and caregivers interact with other families, get support or resources, and build their network. This fun morning includes story time, craft activity, creative play, and snack time.

This activity happens at the main centre as well as many locations throughout Westmorland-Albert Inc., including Riverview, Salisbury, and Beechwood. More will be coming soon. Please check the calendar for specifics about dates and times.

Drop-in Playgroups and Outreach

This program aims to encourage physical activity for young children and the adults around them.

Children develop coordination, developmentally appropriate motor skills, social skills, leadership, imagination, and confidence.

Active Kids Program

Join us for our Musical Program, offered alternatively in English and French!

Come sing, dance, play and learn with us for an interactive hour as well as bond with your little ones!

Musical Events

Healthy Start for Active Kids is a bilingual program providing healthy lifestyle learning opportunities for families with children 0-6 years.

In addition to physical literacy activities, this program encourages families to prepare food with their children. Each class will have a theme and fun activities inspired by the snack or recipe prepared that day.

Healthy Start for Active Kids

Bring a bag of slightly used clothes (clean, no holes or stains ) and leave with a bag.

Things to include: adult and children's clothing and clothing accessories ONLY.

Things to NOT include: toys, dishes, food, household items or appliances.

Browse clothing while your child(ren) play. The more people we see, the more fun we can have.
